Sirius College, Shepparton Campus celebrated R & V Fun Week from 18/06/2018 to 21/06/2018. Different activities were organised for the students during their classes e.g. recitation of Quran, performing on Nasheed/s, R & V Trivia, Asmaul Husna, and Adhan competition. Students enjoyed participating in these activities and had a lot of fun.

On 20th June, 2018 as a part of R & V Fun Week, Grade 6 students participated in an intercampus reading competition. Three students from Grade 6 (Raihaan, Mariam and Qunoot) were selected. In the beginning of the program, students from different Sirius campuses showed various performances including recitation of Quran, speeches & poems etc. Students from Shepparton Campus performed Alla’s 99 names. Raihann, Mariam and Qunoot competed really well against other SIRIUS College Campuses and won third position. Congratulations to Raihann, Mariam and Qunoot and their parents and all the Grade 6 students who performed on stage during the program. It was a good learning experience for all of them. The R & V Competition provided a great platform to display the knowledge and skills students have amassed from reading the book named Prophet Muhammad S.A.W; The Age of Bliss. It proved to be a great source of self-evaluation for participating students. It offered a chance to all of our Grade 6 students to meet new people and make friends from other campuses.

During the R & V fun week, students also participated in classroom activities about basic Islamic religious practices e.g. belief, worship, fasting, alms giving and pilgrimage. They learnt how Islam guided Muslims in their daily life and their worship of God. Through these activities students explored and understood the basic beliefs and the five pillars of Islam.
